We are excited that we might be about to close on our future farm. We found some mostly raw land near our house. 36 acres about 6 minutes and 3 miles from our house. It was a blessing the other farmer backed out at the last minute. We found a much better piece of property. Once we have the farm and animals I will have regular updates. Cross your fingers that in two weeks we’ll be farmers.
Getting close to the closing date. Ordered the orchard trees, laid out the garden and made some other good plans. We are very excited for mid March to get here.
We are working hard on getting a deal done with the farmer. It looks like we might be farm owners in March. We are super excited about being farmers. We’ve started doing alot of planning on what projects to take on first.

I got back from a whirlwind trip to NYC this afternoon. In time to pick up the kids and the dog and run to Boy Scouts. The day before I was able to go on a great adventure with the truck and the pup. I vow to do that more often.
